March 8, 2012, Gatineau, Quebec - MultiCorpora is pleased to announce that its flagship software, MultiTrans Prism, has been awarded a Software Licensing Supply Agreement (SLSA) with the Canadian government. This new agreement supersedes the Departmental Individual Standing Offer (DISO) agreement that expired in December 2011 after five years of having been in place and having served over 30 departments for the purchase of MultiCorpora’s products and services.
MultiTrans Prism is a complete Translation Management System (TMS) that offers organizations control of their linguistic assets, their translation projects, and the translation process from the authoring to the publication of communications in the two official languages.
The new SLSA program differs from its predecessor in several ways that offer more flexibility for federal organizations to purchase MultiCorpora’s products and services. “We welcome the new SLSA program which will further reduce the normally long purchase process. We hope this will encourage remaining federal organizations to invest in our solutions so they can optimize the translation process and facilitate their mandate of communication in the two official languages” said MultiCorpora President and CEO Pierre Blais.
